SOFEX: The Business of War
Once again, Vice far out-legitimizes news networks.
I'm Daniel Bremmer and this is my blog. Everything else is at peachfuzz.net.
This is where I post random stuff I happen to find interesting/inspiring/funny or just plain awesome. If you're here for something in particular I suggest you try filtering by topic: music art advertising design sustainability politics food peeps & bikes. You can also ask me a question on tumblr or send me a good old fashioned e-mail. People still do that, right?
Romney and Trump on the same runway? Douchetown international airport.

Joe Biden’s remarks to families of fallen soldiers on Memorial day demonstrates that in order to be a statesman, you have to be a man. And by man, I mean human. It’s very touching.
This is dangerously close (and in some ways cooler than) an idea I’ve been working on.

In another twenty years when marriage segregation is merely a chapter in history textbooks, don’t let these ass holes forget where they stood.
While I can criticize Obama for being weak-kneed on his support for basic human equality as a matter of practical political calculations, the Republican party and Christian church have planted their flag firmly on the wrong side of history. They deserve to be left behind with it.
This is the most redeeming photo of Mitt Romney you’ll ever see. Unfortunately, all the humanistic feelings it generates about him will disappear when you read the Washington Post article it comes from. And keep in mind, this is coming from the center-right newspaper of record, the conservative version of the New York Times, who’s editors are regular guests on Fox News.
It’s ironic that multiple-sourced stories of his gay-bashing and homophobic bullying comes out the day after Obama gives his (albeit weak-kneed) endorsement of full civil rights for all of us.
