Observations from The Beach Boys at the Hollywood Bowl:
1. Old dudes take a long time to pee.
2. Old dudes with blood pressure problems shouldn’t pass out next to us. It’s very distracting.
3. Al Jardine looks like a metrosexual Crypt Keeper.
4. If you’re famous and good at stuff, that doesn’t mean your kids are. Having your kids be the cameo was awkward for everyone.
5. Not all Beach Boys songs are on Pet Sounds and Smile. Just the good ones.
6. Sangria is heavy.
5. Brian Wilson is god.
6. They didn’t do Vegetables, but they did do Heroes and Villains and Sloop John B.
7. I love my California peeps.
8. Even some of the lame songs are still pretty good.
